Bulk Barn is Canada’s largest bulk food retailer.  The company was founded in 1982 with its first store opening in Richmond Hill, Ontario.  Today we have stores in all provinces except B.C.  Our Head Office is located in Richmond Hill, Ontario.

Bulk Barn has become synonymous with a wide range of premium quality bulk food products and complementary packaged items.  Our concept is built around a bright, clean, controlled environment with friendly and courteous staff.  Emphasis is on freshness and selection of quality product at competitive prices, where customers may buy as much or as little as they wish.

Initially our stores were located in major shopping malls.  But, as we continue to evolve and expand our brand across Canada, the Bulk Barn logo is today mainly found in big box developments, high traffic strip plazas and stand-alone locations.   The typical size of a Bulk Barn store is 5,000 square feet.

At Bulk Barn we carry over 4,000 products – everything from soup to nuts, candy, snacks, baking and candy-making ingredients and supplies, cereals, grains, spices from the everyday to the exotic, dried fruits, nutritional vitamins and supplements, health and natural food products, pet food, plus everything you need to throw a great party.  We strive to keep our product offering current with our customer’s needs, so you name it Bulk Barn probably has it.

But we are not the only ones excited about our business.  Many of our franchisees own multiple Bulk Barn stores or have a relative who owns/operates one.  Now that’s something to be proud of!
