Help support your local Alzheimer Society in this year's 15th Annual Coffee Break®. When you're in our store between Wednesday, September 8 and Wednesday, September 22, your purchase of $1 Coffee Cup cut out will help to raise funds for your local Alzheimer Society. All proceeds stay in your community to help support local programs and services.
Bulk Barn has proudly supported the Alzheimer Society "Coffee Break®" program over the last five years and has raised a total of $645,534 for local Alzheimer Society across the country.
Today, over 500,000 Canadians have Alzheimer's disease or a related dementia and this year alone, it is predicted that an additional 100,000 Canadians will develop this disease. In a recent study, Rising Tide: the Impact of Dementia on the Canadian Economy, commissioned last year by the Alzheimer Society of Canada, it was predicted that within a generation (30 years), the number of Canadians with dementia will more than double, reaching 1.1 million people.
Our stores from Newfoundland to Alberta are very proud to support the Alzheimer Society because the funds raised in the stores are directly allocated back to their community.
