    in soups, sauces and stews add to water portion of recipe during cooking. allow at least 20 minutes during the cooking/simmering process for complete rehydration. in casseroles and stuffings rehydrate in cold water for 15 minutes (3 parts water to 1 part vegetable flakes). drain and use as you would use fresh vegetables in recipes.
