6 cups of White Merckens
1/4 cup of Dark Merckens
1 container of LorAnn Green Powder Food Colouring
1 container of LorAnn Purple Powder Food Colouring
1 container of LorAnn Orange Powder Food Colouring
1 Trudeau Bat and Spider Silicone Mold
1 Trudeau Ghost Silicone Mold
1 Trudeau Pumpkin Mold
Melt the White Merckens in a double boiler or microwave and stir.
Separate into three large and three small mixing bowls. Set aside some of the White Merckens for decorating.
Using a spatula mix one of each LorAnn Powder Food Colouring into one of each of the small bowls of melted White Merckens and stir until desired colour reached.
Using a spatula mix the small coloured bowls into one of each of the larger bowls until incorporated and desired colour reached.
Pour the melted coloured chocolate into the desired mold shapes. Use a small spoon to assist if needed:
Orange for pumpkin
Purple for bat
Green for ghost
Let the molds harden in the refrigerator for 15-30 minutes.
Melt the Dark Merckens in a double boiler or microwave and stir.
Once the molds have hardened pop them out of the silicone mats and plate.
To decorate the faces, use a toothpick and dip into the melted Dark or White Merckens. Follow the outline on the shapes that were created by the molds.
Serve right away, or keep in an air-tight container in a cool place until ready to serve.
Approx. 24 chocolate bites if all three molds used.
