Vegan Butter Tarts

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F
  2. Cream the vegan butter, brown sugar, arrowroot flour and plant milk together. Add in the vanilla and a pinch of sea salt and mix together fully.
  3. Lay out your tarts on a baking sheet and put a few raisins and crushed pecan (or walnut) bits in the bottom of each tart.
  4. Fill the tarts almost to the top with the butter mixture
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
