Classic Crêpes
Ingredients
2 large eggs
1/2 cup (118ml) milk
1/2 cup (118ml) water
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons butter, melted
Directions
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, water, and salt until well combined.
Gradually add the flour and melted butter, whisking vigorously until the batter is smooth.
Heat a lightly oiled frying pan over medium-high heat.
Pour or scoop about 1/4 cup of batter onto the pan, tilting it with a circular motion to evenly coat the surface.
Cook until the top of the crêpe is no longer wet, and the bottom is light brown, about 1 to 2 minutes.
Gently run a spatula around the edge to loosen the crêpe, then flip and cook for an additional minute until the other side is light brown.
Serve hot with your favourite fillings! For a sweet option, try our hazelnut butter with bananas and melted chocolate. For a savoury twist, pair our garlic spread with an egg, and melted cheddar cheese.
