Vegan Hazelnut Chocolate Spread

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Roast the hazelnuts for 8 minutes.
  2. Transfer the roasted hazelnuts to a clean table cloth and rub together to remove the skin.
  3. Add the skinned hazelnuts to a food processor or high-speed blender and mix on high until hazelnuts are creamy and fully blended. Depending on the blender, it can take between 5-20 minutes.
  4. Add the vanilla, oil, cacao, sugar, and salt to the blended hazelnuts.
  5. Blend for an additional 2-4 minutes until fully incorporated.

 

NOTE: Store in a glass container in the fridge for up to 1 month.
