    black bean dip 3/4 cup organic black bean flour 1/2 tsp chili powder 1/4 tsp cumin 1/4 tsp turmeric 1/2 tsp ground sea salt 2 1/2 cups hot water 1/2 cup organic salsa or finely diced tomatoes combine organic black bean flour, spices and water in a sauce pan on medium heat. stir with a whisk until combined (about 1 minute). reduce heat to medium low and cover for about 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally. remove from heat, keep covered and let stand for about 15 minutes. add your favorite salsa and serve. usage tips: bean flours are generally used in gluten-free recipes, but can also add nutritional value to breads and other flour based recipes. black bean flour can be made into delicious bean dips, tortillas, used as a soup thickener, added to brownie recipes or whole wheat breads.
