    fancy molasses is obtained from the second extraction of the sugar refining process. it is reddish brown in colour and has a moderately sweet and tangy flavour. it is unsulphured although naturally occuring sulphur may be present. fancy molasses is sweeter than blackstrap molasses. molasses can be used as a natural colourant, sweetener or as a thickening agent. it is often found in baked beans, barbeque sauces, meat sauces, brown or specialty breads, mincemeat, table syrup and confections.

    this molasses is delicious in baked goods, main dishes or as it is as a table syrup on pancakes, waffles, toast and so on.
