    combine 1 cup wild rice blend with 1 3/4 cups water* in a medium saucepan. bring to a boil. cover tightly with a lid and reduce heat to low. simmer and cook for 25 minutes. remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes (with lid). fluff with a fork and serve. * add more water if needed to reach desired consistency. *substitute broth/stock for water to enhance flavour.
