    Two Bite Brownie Spiders

    Ingredients:

    • 10 tablespoons (145 grams) Unsalted Butter, melted
    • 1 1/4 cups (250 grams) White Fine Sugar
    • 3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons (80 grams) Cocoa Powder
    • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
    • 2 Large Eggs, cold
    • 1/2 cup (65 grams) All-Purpose Flour
    • 36 Candy Eyes
    • 72 Pretzel Twists, salted
    • White Cookie Icing

    Directions:

    1. Preheat the oven to 325°F.
    2. Spray the bottom of each mini muffin cup with no-stick cooking spray.
    3. Combine melted butter, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt in a medium bowl. Stir the mixture until well combined.
    4. Check to make sure the mixture isn't hot. If it is, set aside for 5 minutes.
    5. Add the eggs, one at a time, stirring vigorously after each one.
    6. When the batter looks thick and well blended, add the flour. Use a spatula or wooden spoon to stir the flour into the batter until it is thick.
    7. Divide the batter evenly into mini muffin cups. It should fill approximately 18 muffin cups.
    8. Bake the brownies 15-20 minutes or until the edges look dry and the middle looks slightly under baked.
    9. Cool completely before removing them from the muffin cups. This step is essential and helps the brownies set.

    Let's decorate!

    1. Place a small dab of icing on the back of two candy eyes, then place them on the brownies in the center near the bottom to give it a spider look.
    2. Take pretzel twists and break them into three pieces around the curved edges to make the legs. *Make sure you have extra pretzels because a few may break. Alternatively, you can buy pretzel sticks!
    3. Insert eight pretzel legs (four on each side) and enjoy!

NOTE: Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
