Apple Doughnuts
Ingredients:
- 4 Medium Apples
- 1 cup (120g) All-Purpose Flour
- 1/4 cup (30g) Cornstarch
- 1 Pinch of Cinnamon
- 1 Pinch of Salt
- 1 cup (245g) Almond Milk
- Vegetable Oil, for frying
- Icing Sugar, for dusting
Directions:
- Cut the apple into discs and remove the center.
- Heat the oil on medium heat.
- In a medium sized bowl, mix together flour, cornstarch, cinnamon, salt, and almond milk.
- Dip the apple discs into the batter to cover and fry in oil until crispy (approx. 2 mins per side). Remove from the pan.
- Cover with a dust of icing sugar and enjoy warm.
Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Cook Time: 20 Minutes
Total Time: 30 Minutes
Yield: Approx. 16 Doughnuts
