Christmas Tree Brownie

Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup butter
• 1 cup white fine sugar
• 2 eggs beaten
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (on sale until December 12th)
• 1/3 cup cocoa powder (I like Superior Red) (on sale until December 12th)
• 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour an 8-inch round pan to prevent the brownies from sticking.
2. In a large saucepan, melt butter.
3. Remove from heat, and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
4. Beat in cocoa, flour, salt and baking powder.
5. Pour into prepared pan and bake 25-30 minutes.
